A word from the race director

Dear Triathletes,

We are happy to welcome you for the 1st edition of the “Challenge Montpellier” middle and full distance triathlons, events set up by triathletes for triathletes. We hope to welcome 3,000 triathletes from all over the world to Montpellier.

The co-organizers Antoine, Pierry and I are above all passionate about triathlon, triathletes for more than 25 years for two of us… and our children were born in Montpellier.

A swim in the Mediterranean Sea with a mass start, cycling routes that allow you to discover the varied landscapes of the Herault and a run through the new districts of Montpellier along the smallest river in France for a festive arrival at the Zénith from Montpelier…
We do not forget families with free shopping for children on Saturday afternoon.

“Challenge Montpellier” an event where social and environmental responsibility is highlighted with in particular the planting of trees in the town of Villeneuve lès Maguelonne and part of the amount of registrations donated to an association working for heart transplantation.

Organizing an event of this magnitude cannot be done without the colossal support of local authorities (Montpellier metropolis, Herault department, Occitanie region), our private partners and our volunteers.

We wish all triathletes an extraordinary race that will make “Challenge Montpellier” an essential event on the French and European calendar.
